Semifinals of the Copa América
Brazil will face Uruguay, on Tuesday, in Maracaibo, and Argentina will take on Mexico, on Wednesday, in Puerto Ordaz, in the semifinals of the Copa América de Venezuela-2007.
All four national teams reached this phase after having thrashed their opponents in the quarterfinals, and promise to put on exciting matches with uncertain prognosis.
On Saturday, Uruguay defeated Venezuela 4-1, putting and end to the hosts’ dreams, while Brazil demolished Chile 6-1.
This Sunday, Mexico crushed Paraguay 6-nil and Argentina eliminated Peru with a 4-nil mauling.
