England are obviously not meeting expectations, they need a remedy. There is a lot of blame on Capello, but I don’t believe it is entirely his fault.
Of course at the end of the day, he has to explain for the whole show but the England players are just not connecting. The England squad is full of players that have tasted success for their club’s but cannot apply themselves come WC time.
We can take a look at three big names for England, Lampard, Gerrard and Rooney. None have shown the true potential they posses.
If it’s not too late for England, they could probably brush up on their play, I say this because sometimes even big teams struggle, big stars also struggle. I mean we are also seeing the likes of Ronaldo failing to find his way-just a good example.
Maybe the players themselves should take the blame. Capello blamed for many things, yet he has a team full of stars. They will find their way, but this is the problem when expectations are too high. That’s England’s downfall, they are overrated.
When things are good, then they are considered GREAT, when things go bad, they look at who to blame.
