NBA : Nuggets (103) vs Mavericks (101)

DALLAS, March 27,2009(AP) -- Carmelo Anthony was having his way with the Dallas Mavericks all night, scoring as easily on long jumpers as he was on drives to the basket.

So how come, Dirk Nowitzki wondered, the Mavs didn't smother him with the game on the line?

Anthony squirted through traffic for a go-ahead layup with 12.2 seconds left, then added a free throw in the final seconds to cap a 43-point performance that lifted the Denver Nuggets to a 103-101 victory over the Jason Kidd-less Mavericks on Friday night.

Robinho’s future

Robinho’s future at Manchester City is really becoming a confusing situation. Barcelona who seem to be very interested in the Brazilian, now apparently they don’t have enough funds to fork out.
City only recently managed to scoop the Brazilian International and just months down the line we don’t even know if he will be around at City come next season.Barca’s financial position might only see Robinho’s move in the form of a loan or a swop.
Whether or not City are prepared for this type of a deal, remains pretty unclear.Probed by injury, we have not seen as much of him as we would of liked to. He is a key player at City and can definitely help lift them to the top.He should just stay put for now until City’s presence in the league reaches new heights. He is at a club that will surely find success but he should just be a little patient, as should all.

Manchester United 1 Liverpool 4

I must have dozed off in front of the telly yesterday because I had the strangest dream. Well, you could say it was a bit of a nightmare really.

There was this team, they’re nearly always dressed in red, big and tough and they really can be devils at times. You don’t mess with them unless you want a right slapping.

And there was this other team. Now I’ve seen them before and they sometimes try to make themselves look like the first team because they usually wear red, but they’re not as good.

But this time they were like big giants in grey suits of armour, and they seemed to have these jets attached that made them faster than anything I’ve seen for a long time. Jeez, they were like lightning.

Funny thing was, though, that these first tough guys who play like the very Devil, were dressed like little red jelly babies. True! Jelly babies! Never seen anything like it; they couldn’t run, they couldn’t kick the ball – and when they did they kept falling over – and they just hadn’t a clue what was going on.

The big guys (the ones with the jet-packs on their backs) must have felt sorry for the jelly babies because they gave them a goal start. But it didn’t make any difference because they were just having a laugh
